Sweihan, Abu Dhabi / A recorded Navra drive
Explore a real UAE desert-drive recording, then see how to download its GPX, inspect the line and prepare the surrounding maps in Navra. This is a historical recording, not a certified or permanently open trail.
Original shared recording / Recorded 3 October 2026
The original Cobwebs recording was shared through Navra’s browser route page. Distance, moving time and elevation below come directly from the shared record. Moving time is not elapsed time or a prediction for another convoy.
No difficulty grade, entry permission or current terrain inspection is implied. Desert tracks and access can change. Confirm the route with an experienced lead, verify local instructions and check current weather before departure.
Use the file as a planning reference

In Navra open GPS → Saved → Import route file. Choose the GPX, confirm Import and inspect the start, finish and whole line with the lead. GPX import is in the free core app, subject to storage limits.
Prepare the surrounding area and relevant exits separately with Navra Pro. Test the map and route without mobile data before departure. Live convoy updates still need internet.
What the example proves
This example demonstrates Navra’s recording, browser sharing and GPX workflow. It does not independently rate the app or prove every feature works in every location. Ventrax Navra and Ventrax Offroad are related brands.
Before choosing any section, review vehicle readiness, tyres, recovery points, water, radio arrangements and fallback options with your organiser. A downloaded route can remain useful without mobile data, but it cannot see new obstacles or make a suitability decision for the convoy.
After your own drive, recording the actual line gives the crew something concrete to review. Share only tracks you are authorised to publish and explain their date and context. Keep private meeting points and personal locations out of a public example.
Clear answers
It is a recorded desert drive shared from Ventrax Navra, dated 3 October 2026. The outline and statistics describe that recording, not an approved trail or a recommended journey time.

No. GPX contains the recorded track, not the surrounding map imagery. Download the map area separately with Navra Pro before leaving coverage and check it on your own phone.
This page does not assign a difficulty grade. A qualified lead should assess current terrain, access, weather, vehicles and driver experience before choosing any section. Learn desert driving with supervised instruction.
Personal share links remain excluded from search indexing. This recording was explicitly selected for a public example page; it does not make every shared drive part of a public trail directory.
