Sell your data
Not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers or anyone else. Navra is paid for by the people who choose Navra Pro, not by your information.
Privacy in plain words / Your data
An off-road app knows where you are. That is the whole point, and it is also the most personal thing you can hand to anyone. This page says, in plain words, what Navra collects, who can see it, what we never do with it, and who is actually behind the app.
The short version
Navra shares your live position only while you are sharing it, only with the convoy or the friends you chose, and only as your latest position. There is no feed of where you have been. It is hidden from everyone fifteen minutes after your last update and deleted when you stop sharing or the session ends.
There is no advertising SDK and no third-party tracker in the app. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. The companies that help run Navra are named one by one in the privacy policy, with what each one receives and why.
Navra is built and run by Ventrax Digital, a registered Dubai company, not an anonymous developer account. The same studio built websites and web apps for clients before it built an app of its own, and the founder's name is on every page of this site. You can reach a person at [email protected], [email protected] or 058 521 0365.
Your rights do not depend on your passport. Whether you live in Dubai, Berlin or Riyadh, you can see, correct, export and delete your data, and withdraw consent, through the same controls and the same email address.
What we never do
Not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers or anyone else. Navra is paid for by the people who choose Navra Pro, not by your information.
No advertising SDK, no third-party analytics or crash reporter in the app. If we ever add one, the policy will say so first and your in-app analytics setting will be respected.
Live sharing stores one latest position per person, replaced with every update, hidden after fifteen minutes and deleted when sharing stops. Trails you record stay on your phone unless you choose to save, export or share them.
Joining a trip or convoy does not share your location; you choose the sharing mode separately. Blocking someone removes their access at once. The live map always shows who can see you and why, with a stop for each share.
Your controls
Privacy Settings in the app hold the sharing, analytics and diagnostics switches. The live map shows every active share with the person it goes to. Account deletion is in the app itself, not behind an email form.

Through a drive
A display name and email, plus whatever you choose to add to your profile. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see them. Payment for Navra Pro goes through Apple or Google, so we never receive card details.
You choose who the trip is for. Private trip keeps it to the people you invite or give the trip code to, My Groups opens it to the members of one of your groups, and Community lists it in the app for signed-in Navra drivers to find and join. Those people see the meeting point, time and route. A trip invite link shows the name, date and area; the meeting point appears on the link preview only when the trip is public.
The recording lives on your phone. Nothing leaves the device until you choose to save it to your library, export it or share it.
Your latest position goes to the members of that live session and nobody else, with the time it was measured. It is hidden after fifteen minutes without an update and deleted when the session ends or you stop sharing.
A share page shows the line and its numbers, not your name or account. The link is a long random token and is excluded from search engines, but anyone you send it to can open it, so check the route for sensitive places first.
Delete your account from Privacy Settings and it takes effect immediately; any copy that remains is removed within thirty days. Deleting the account does not cancel a Pro subscription, so do that in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Straight answers
No. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only companies that touch your data are the ones that run the service, such as hosting, maps, payments and email delivery, and each one is named in the privacy policy with what it receives.
No. Live sharing shows your latest position only, to the convoy or friends you chose, and only while you are sharing. There is no history to browse. Recorded trails stay on your phone until you decide to save or share them.
Because the places people drive are theirs. Navra does not run a public map or directory of desert places. You choose who sees each trip: a private trip is only for the people you invite, a group trip is for that group, and a Community trip is listed in the app for signed-in Navra drivers to join. Putting places on an open map can send crowds and unprepared first-timers to them without the local context that comes with them, such as which tracks are open, which land is private or protected, where the sand turns soft and how far it is to help. We would rather help you plan the drive with your own crew than put anyone's favourite place on a public map.
App data is hosted with Supabase in the Mumbai region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Ventrax Digital, the company behind Navra, is based in Dubai. We would rather tell you the real region than make a vague claim about local storage.
Navra is operated by a UAE company and is built to the standards those laws expect: a plain policy that names every provider, a lawful basis for each use, no selling of data, collecting only what a feature needs, and the right to access, correct, export and delete. We do not wave the word compliant around as a badge. We describe what we do so you can check it, and we give the same rights to everyone wherever they live.
To understand what to build. We look at totals, never at people: how many drives were recorded this month, how many were dune drives against mountain or wadi routes, which features are used and which are ignored. Nothing in those totals identifies a person, and we do not publish or sell them.
Open Profile, then Settings, then Privacy Settings and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately. You can also email [email protected] with a verified request and we will complete it within thirty days. Cancel a Pro subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
Email [email protected] and a person will reply. We publish a security.txt file at navra.ae/.well-known/security.txt so researchers know where to send a report. Please give us a reasonable time to fix a problem before talking about it publicly.
Download Navra for iPhone or Android, set your sharing choices in Privacy Settings, and share your position with the people you choose and nobody else.
